Hey there! I'm a 25 year old female from New Mexico; I need to lose a little over a hundred pounds but am trying to do it in a healthy way. I can't honestly say that I've struggled with weight loss as I don't think I've really tried (at the heart of it); I'd say "yeah, I'm losing weight!" and then 2 weeks later I'd take a "break" which never really ended.

This is the first concerted effort that I've really made and I'm working on it to be more of a lifestyle change than anything. My goal right now is simple: To still be working on my lifestyle change come February for my birthday; I figure if I can make it for a little over a month then that, in itself, will prove something to me.

I'm a little nervous because January 18th I'm going out of town and won't have as much control of what I eat, but it should be a good learning experience in what to get while on the road. We'll see how it goes!

I'm excited to have found your community and am looking forward to a healthier me!
