I joined in January 2011 looking to change my lifestyle.
I'm 34 years old, 5'8" tall.
Start: 262 pounds, size 18
From not caring that I put in my mouth and being only moderatly active to a more active one where I am conscientious of how I feed my body. I have learned that to respect myself and take care of myself, I must move my body and eat healthy nutritious foods in reasonable moderate quantities. I love to play all sports, esp volleyball, but I often lack the motivation to work out. I'm trying to find the trick to that. I've recently tried running but I can't make it very far...:)
I have PCOS and have struggled with weight all my life, but I'm determined to lose the weight I currently have and maintain a healthy lifestyle for the rest of my life. This is why I'm not on a diet; to me, a diet is temporary.
Doctors, gyms, WW, all say I need to be 140. I'm not aiming for a specific number, I'm aiming for just a healthier body.
