27 Yr old Single Male. Was up to 195 lbs after grad school & working a 70 hour a week job. Down to 165 now and trying to get down to 155-160 & sub 10% body fat. I watch what I eat but not to a point of obsession, I just try to exercise every day if I can. I am on a USTA team and play tennis one to 3 times a week (best full body exercise of any sport IMO), and hit the gym for ab / upper body workouts.
I also ski just about every weekend in the winter
Some changes in my daily habits made all the difference.
- Switched from coffee to green tea
- Primarily drink hard liquor rather than beer
- Crank out push ups / sit ups throughout the day whenever I have a spare 30 seconds (preferably when no ones around)
- If I'm hungry later in the evenings - avoid carbs / processed foods. I'll eat salad or some nuts.
Trying to make that last push to get to where I want to be. So much easier to maintain a weight rather than always fighting to lose it.
