My name is Doirin and I am a mother to 3 boys. I was unfortunately widowed 2 years ago in October.
I have always struggled with my weight and know I need to do something about it. I lost over 6 stone last year on a food replacement diet. I put it all back on bar a stone. Lost it fast put it back on just as fast. I know it's not the way to go for me, I need a slower rate and a more manageable, achievable way of doing things.
I have read more diet books than novels, tried different plans, attended different weight loss classes. I feel I can use all this information and try to make a sensible diet I can adhere to. I think the writing of a journal and keeping the diet calendar as well as posting on forums here will help to keep me on the straight and narrow.
That's the plan anyway.
