Don't get upset if one scale weighs higher than another. What difference does it make? If one scale says you are 3 lbs heavier, it doesn't mean that you miraculously just gained 3 lbs. If you lost 5 lbs according to your scale, you still lost 5 lbs. It just means you would have been 3 lbs heavier to start with according to the other scale. You can't jump around from scale to scale and take what they read as a sign of your progress or lack thereof. Real progress doesn't always show on the scale, either. Take your measurements into account, too. And whether your clothes are fitting looser. Are you exercising a lot more than you used to? You are building muscle which weighs a lot more than fat. You may also be retaining water and even a little constipation can disguise itself as weight gain. Time + effort= progress. Don't stress. It all works out in the end.
