I have not been eating all that well the past few days. I have not been that hungry. That is part of it. I just have not been eating much all day, only to find myself with extra calories in the evening which I use up by eating ice cream and having a homebrew. Perhaps a more balanced diet would be a benefit.

As soon as my foot feels better, I plan to get more exercise. I hope that will start tomorrow and I can walk my son to school and take an extended walk home to get a good start.

I did go through a light recipe cookbook and plan the week around some new, lighter recipes. I love to cook and I love delicious food. I hope these recipes will provide some tasty alternatives that are lower in calories and fat than my usual fare.
