It is Friday!!! So happy!

Any fellow Nook lovers out there? If so- the folks at Barnes and Noble must have had a long week as well because you can download "DIY Cocktails" for free and kick off the weekend like the rock star you know you are.

What does everyone else on this site do? I know, I know, I know... exercise, eat right (most likely better than I do), and generally be awesome- but are there any other hobbies?

I know at least one person who likes to drink on a boat (heck yeah), and someone who lifts weights like a hulk (so jealous) but I want to get to know everyone....it makes this place feel less like a random assortment of posts for me.

I love running, knitting, crocheting lacy afghans for our home, a few trashy TV shows, Droid (not a huge Apple fan- I know, what's wrong with me), card games and board games are pretty awesome and I love to read. I will choose a beach and fresh sea food over snow any day. I think a crab omelet sounds gross. I am a dog person.

These are my boys:

Hubby and I are very serious people.*

*I have been know to be sarcastic at times

My dog, Marlow, has a very rough life (in a parral universe)

I have no idea what else to write about myself.

I am addicted to Pinterest.

Who are you people? Is there anything you want to know about me? Fair warning- I am an extremely boring person.

XOXOXO

I love this...I am also so interested in the other people here, where they live, what they do for work, what they do for fun! Thanks for sharing. :) I don't think you are boring at all! As for me, I am an artist and musician in training. I work a BORING full time position for the government (the OPPOSITE of my creative lifestyle...but can't walk away from a good paying, secure job)I've been a tattoo artist, but now mostly focus on paintings, murals, hosting an art club (this weekend is the 1st meeting!) I play guitar and my husband is a drummer/recording engineer. We have a studio in our basement and when I get good enough I will be recording some songs. I too love dogs! I enjoy wine on the weekends which derails my healthy eating. I love the shows Dexter, Breaking Bad, Roseann (nerd), ancient aliens, NETFLIX!, I listen to heavy metal music, but I also like my fair share of other genres (tori amos, incubus, florence and the machine, modest mouse, pheonix, to name a few more popular bands) I someday would love to learn how to knit, sew, garden, play more instruments, climb a mountain, run a full marathon, god this list could go on forever. I have a lot of hobbies which means I have no social life. LOL

Ah yes- you and I are fellow Netflix lovers!! LOL- I know what you mean about having a boring day job, money may not make the world go round but it does pay the bils... lame. Exciting about the art club! I use to really be into sculpture and painting but I haven't had the time/space/money for that in quite a while. Dexter is awesome (although I haven't seen the last season so don't spoil it... any more than it already is since I know what happens in the very last episode, lol). Have you seen the "Is it Real?" series? It is on Netflix and I think it is a pretty fun series. If you ever want tips on knitting hit me up- I will gladly help :)

My life is pretty boring right now. I work in social services in the mental health field, which doesn't make for a boring job at a ll. My hobbies? I like to thrift store shop, knit, take my dog on walks, take my little cousins out to get their nails done, go to theater stuff my friend is always doing. I like baseketball and football a lot, right now I'm watching the playoffs because I like Oklahoma City. I am not married, no kids. I have been single for years, and although it's not great, the idea of being with the wrong person or being with someone because you can't handle being alone is more of a turnoff for me. I have a West Highland Terrier named Charlie, and he's a pretty good boy though sometimes he is naughty. I like my house a lot and am trying to finish cleaning it up. Oh, and today is day two of not smoking - the first day was easier than I though it was going to be. I really want to quit!

Yeay! Another knitter and dog lover! And I agree with you on being with someone who isn't for you. I never planned or thought I would be married so it is sometimes weird for me to talk about my hubby- lol! Your dog sounds adorable! Kudos for quiting smoking- that is awesome!!!

yay non-smoker! I quit 9 months ago. Keep it up-it's so worth it! AND you will be able to run better!
