I am getting so discouraged... first I bought a new scale because our old analog one was starting to act goofy (I think the springs were worn out) and when we got a digital it read almost 5 lbs. higher than I thought I was!
I still can't stand the way that I look in pictures- and it is soooo frustrating! I think one main reason is that I have a chubby/rounder face- I always assumed it had to do with my weight but now I am beginning to wonder if I just have a chubby face...
Wow- could I be any whinier? Probably. Ish, I can't stand whiny-ness even when it comes from me!
Ok, enough of that (for now- the day is still young, lol)
Good things: - I finally learned how to make a cold bean salad. It takes like all of five minutes, and it is fabulous.
- I ran 6 miles at a pace that was under 9 1/2 minutes per mile on average.
- My legs are looking leaner
- My skin is still looking cleaner/more glow-y (I dunno how to describe it but apparently it is the same "glow" that pregnant women have because ever since I started running I keep getting asked if I am pregnant. Not an ego boost when you are trying to loose weight FYI)
- I am enjoying the new cute work clothes that I had to buy since I shrunk out of my old wardrobe
Goals: - I want to start doing Pilates twice a week to help tone. Starting tonight. - I really want to be running 7 miles in two weeks from today, I have been running 6 miles for going on 3 weeks now.
- I want to learn how to cook new, easy dishes. I have already joined a challenge for this and did a new meal yesterday. It was 2/3 successful- but it was a freaking awesome dinner anyhow.
Does anyone else but me read other's journal entries on this site? I read other's journals and I am beginning to feel like a stalker... not that it stops me from commenting but still....
