At my last weigh-in I was told to increase my protein. I am working on it, but I think I have allowed my frustration to throw me off track. I made protein powder peanut butter cookies with 60% cocoao chocolate chips. 1/4 cup protein powder, two eggs, 1 cup peanut butter and 2/3 cup coconut sugar. I ate three yesterday! the recipe DOES NOT call for chocolate chips and I don't think I am supposed to eat coconut sugar on keto, but I did not care. I also had about FIVE triple chocolate coated almonds from Starbucks. I had Chinese food from the buffet on Saturday. Granted I ate broccoli, chicken, spare ribs and fish, but it was buttery and good. I didn't go crazy because I was afraid of getting a stomach ache, but I would call those things indulging. I am either going to pay for it on Friday when I weigh-in or it may help me...I have no idea.
I have been so good with all of this. I have said "no thank you" to so many yummy things, I think I may be going a little insane. The truth of the matter is that if I can make it through the holidays without eating all sorts of decadent things then I can do ANYTHING!!
