I decided to go ahead and indulge in some carbs this weekend. They were... Disappointing. I didn't log it, but I had my favorite pizza (Buffalo Chicken) on Saturday and... It wasn't very good. The pizza dough was spongey and hard to chew. Not like how I remember it. I also had a Frappuccino from Starbucks and I couldn't even taste the flavor in it, all I could taste was the sugar. A little sad to see two of my favorite treats become so... Unappetizing. I managed to knock myself out of ketosis, which is fine. I'm still down 5 lbs from my starting weight and I've only got 20 lbs to go. 💪 Back to the Keto life! I've decided to allow myself 30 grams of net carbs this week and see where that gets me.

I know isn't so anti-climatic when your crave-worthy foods aren't all that worthy anymore? It's a nice reminder when you wanna cave in though, that carbs aren't all their cracked out to be.

I bet that will make it easier to not cave in the next time you feel like wanting to. But everyone deserves a splurge every once in a while, but sorry it wasn't satisfying... that's a bummer!
