I don't know how I did today. I didn't do badly, but I didn't do well either, it was just okay. What I need to do is start exercising. Once I commit to an exercise plan I am sure that will help termendously. I have relying on diet alone, and that is just not working for me. I also need a new scale. I can't weigh in.

I waited for a month before I started exercising. I don't really like it but I'm glad I do it. It really does help, for lots of reasons. I wish you luck!

I suggest that you go to the library and check out the book by Bob Greene entitled, "The Best Life Diet." The book outlines just how to exchange destructive habits for positive, healthy ones. He says that his is not a diet but a lifestyle change. Those of us who have a problem with eating know that a lifestyle change is what it takes to be really successful at losing, and keeping the weight off. And after all, what's the point in losing unless we make the necessary lifestyle changes that will keep the weight off? It's really hard work to lose. Who wants to go thru that more than once? :-) Bob Greene is the personal trainer who helped Oprah to lose her weight. It's a really good book, and not "preachy."
