Mother nature y u no give me snow day too!! It snowed about 2 inches and stuck to the grass but left slushy nonsense otherwise. At least the kid will get to play in it a bit. She wasn't feeling well last night so grandma is bringing her to school later today and I'm sure they'll get out before its all melted. Grandma was peeved that we weren't due to get 2 feet and I have to agree with her.
Especially since I stayed up till 1:30 making slings... every night I stay up late, berate myself the next morning, then rationalize it again. I'm smart I know.
I feel really clever this AM actually. At work I'm always stuck listening to whatever the girls up front want to play, usually oldies or soul or weird jazz... none of which I choose on my own. Ever. So I loaded my Ipod last night and qued it up first thing today.
The best part is that I picked songs that while up tempo and rocking are also Christian :D Win!
