Well I found the 3 lbs that I lost last week. Well, I'm pretty upset with myself. A few things I cant understand: 1) Why cant I consistely be dedicated to eating & exercise...2)I get so stressed that the only comfort to relax me from the stress is food...why cant it be exercising? 3) Why dont I love myself enough to take better care of me, is this crazy or what?

I fall off the wagon often. Takes a couple of weeks to get back on track, I do wonderful for a week or so, and then I fall off. I'm so sick of the yo-yo. I want consistency...why cant I get it?

all I can say is consistency is the key, we all have to start somewhere, just don't throw the towel all in together, It starts with babysteps, and once you see results from your efforts that is definetly one of the most rewarding things, and it just keeps going and getting better from there. :-)

I know what you mean, I have been there for years. It just gets to the point you have to have a serious talk with yourself and evaluate exactly what you want and what matters most to you. You are your own worst enemy and you have to tackle your own mindset to get results anywhere else. Believe in yourself. You have to find something that you enjoy, like listening to music, and forcefully put that in the place of food as a stress reliever at first. After you make yourself use other means to vent then you start wanting those other things and not food so much. Get to the point mentally where you can enjoy food without guilt and use it as a daily tool for living rather than as a means of self-destruction. For me, I had to make myself hurt with exercise, it became my torture for about a week. I punished myself physically and mentally and then once I decided what I wanted everything else slowly started to fall into place too. Baby steps and a fresh mindset are what you need. You CAN do this!
