I started eating chia seeds and safflower oil this week. It seems to be making a huge difference. I'm also finding I enjoy eating more fruits and veggies and keeping the calorie count down than I do obsessively counting each carb. I still try to keep the carbs down, but I'm more concerned with how much fiber I get in each day. I'm within 10 pounds of where I was when I gave up the last time.
I have a doctor's appointment next week. The last time I was in their office, a mere month ago, I weighed 275. I know I'll be up a bit from what my scale says in the mornings. For one thing, I leave my shoes on. But I'm sure their scale will be down at least 20 pounds. That makes me smile.
