To be self: I have been fairly disciplined in staying on track but everyday is a struggle. I have never been the one to have the body to allow two pounds of weight loss, but am taking it day by day to be the gatekeeper for a healthy life. 30 years of unhealthy eating to get to here. Fifty six weeks to lose 56 pounds is a realistic goal and of course I would love to get there sooner-who wouldn't. Everyday in this journey remind myself, I will complete this goal. High cholesterol, BMI, arthritis pain, or sugar cravings will not steal my joy. I will be the slimmer, healthier, more energetic me next year for my 1st daughter's nursing school grad, 2nd daughter's high school grad, twin boys 1st day of kindergarten, my 30th high school reunion, and next years wedding anniversary.
