Hi Veggies, I used to write everything I ate into my journal too. It has a very good aspect to it, everybody can see when you go to far. After a while, I decided that if I was going to go through the trouble of recording everything, I wanted a tally of the calories even more. Since I wasn't going to do both, I decided on the calorie count. Of course, that implies measuring, which some people are not into at all. I just though I might mention it since I saw you are also trying to do the calories on Fatsecret's log.

i did not eat as much as i normally do for dinner...but for breakfast and lunch those were normal...
info...i do not trust the calories here so i acutally just go buy the estimated amount of serving per plate...like dinner last night was not quite a full cup of pasta or meat...but for this system that was the smallest i could find...sorry

Even if it's just a little bite for a snack, it'll rev up that metabolism! Being that I'm watching my sugars, I can know see that skipping even on snack can sabotouge my sugars for the day! =S Be careful! :)
