Oh my goodness, I'm sorry for what happened to you. I hope you're alright. In the meantime please don't let this incident throw you off. You said it right "Keep calm, keto on!" Life has its ups and downs, we just have to take one step at a time. Good luck!

keep tabs on yourself; I'd visit that chiropractor. Whiplash is sneaky.

that must have been quite an experience... good thing you're okay! You can have many cars, you've only got one body! :)

Whew! I'm not sure what we have in insurance. We have a 2002 Honda Accord, so it probably isn't worth much, but we're looking to get a 2017 Honda CR-V.. Next week, I hope, but I'll be checking the insurance to make sure it will include rental coverage. We rent a car when we go on vacations, because the Accord is so old, and it costs about $150 for a week. You might look into renting something instead of using Uber, etc. I'm just really glad you weren't killed. Altho, getting bashed like that can sure mess up your muscles..

City living ain't for me. You guys can have the danger. I'll show you the lack of danger here... if I can figure out how to get a photo on this site ever again. Glad you're okay.

So glad you're ok
I had someone drive into my car last Monday morning.
Nowhere near as bad as yours, but very scary and stressful ( and initially expensive)
Stay on track
Hugs 🤗

Wow what a night and day you've had. I second the chiropractor 'just in case'.

Yikes - so glad you are not hurt. Check with a doctor for the trauma.

What a fright for you! Make sure you're checked over properly as jolts can put your back out in such a way you won't notice for months but cause real pain later. All the best 🤗

So glad to hear that you are all right. Thank goodness the police were able to define the cause.

Poor you, it's very scary being hit. I was once hit by a double decker bus while I was a driving a small two-seater MG. I was fine thankfully and my insurance company were marvellous (how often can you say that?!) and realised that it was the bus driver's fault and so didn't penalise me. Just take it easy and have nice hot baths - I have a straight spine and it helps so much - also, if you have any discomfort in your back use a tennis ball between a wall and your back and you can give yourself a massage (my lovely lovely Chiro Kev told me that trick). You may look like a twit but it works!

Hello new wellwishers! The urgent care that checked me, gave me ibuprofen and a muscle relaxer. I hit my head on my steeling wheel and the accident caused my neck muscles to tense up so my spine in my neck isn't curved but straight. The pills knock me out. I'm hoping I can use a few of my vacation days at work to recover. Anyway, since the urgent care said nothing is broken I'll do a wellness visit to the chiropractor to follow up later on. They are a "no insurance" type and only $40 a visit.
