Congratulations on the birth of your beautiful little boy and congratulations on your decision to get healthy. You can do this, and you can definitely get below 200. Be honest with yourself and log everything you eat. Everything. There are many ways to lose weight. Simply counting calories works. I prefer low carb, keto actually because it takes away all the cravings. As long as I consume sugar or carbs in anything but very low quantities I stay hungry. If I avoid them, I rarely think about food. Try to fit exercise or activity in whenever you can. Take your beautiful little boy out for a walk every day. It will do you both good. You can do this. We are here to support you. Play around and find a method that works for you. You've got this.

Just have faith in yourself..I to was over 200 lbs and didn't think that I would ever get it off but I was determined especially for my girls... You can do this girl..I also was thought to have thyroid issues and on the verge of having diabetes but I beat that just from changing things in my diet and the way I felt about myself... Don't give up on your goals..Reach for them everyday even if you mess up because I did but don't get discouraged... Empower yourself gf

You don't have to exercise to lose weight (though it helps and is certainly good for your heart), as food counts for 80% of your weight loss. If you go back to eating healthy, whole foods that can be cooked at home, and smallish portions at that, you can lose a ton of weight in just a month. And most certainly you can land in Onederland!

Your fibromyalgia could be a symptom of your low thyroid because your meds are not right and not actual fibromyalgia!

There is nothing I can add. You have a beautiful little boy and you are so right in wanting to be a healthy mommy for him. You just keep looking at that precious bundle every day as your reward and you will meet your goals. Do small goals at a time and they will add up. There are so many of us who started over 200# and have made it successfully to onederland. The key is to not give up...

You are not the only on here with fibro and thyroid issues as well as multiple other health problems trying to come up with a more healthy Way of Eating for various reasons. Yours is your son. Mine was to try to live to maybe see grandchildren. 🤷🏻♀️The motivation helps. Welcome!
