Well, today I am pretty proud of myself as I didn't overeat and I didn't have anything after I came home from work tonight. I got home around 11:30, which is usual, and I started to look to find something to munch on, but when I couldn't decide after a few minutes, I was thinking, "Am I really hungry?" No surprise: I wasn't. So I had some water and a fiber drink mixed with gatorade.

I honestly don't know how many calories I had today but I don't care because I ate healthy and in moderation. I could estimate it at no more than 1800, which is good, but most importantly, I ate out of hunger, and listened better to my body.

I wish I could have gotten more exercise, but there is always tomorrow. I rarely miss a day anyway. Stuff really does start to stick if you do it long enough, you just have to be patient. The healthy eating is starting to stick, as well as the exercise.

It's good that you are looking at it as a life style change rather than a way to lose weight fast. I keep trying to tell myself and others (not that I'm one to take advice from) that if you just eat healthy and exercise when you can, the weight will come off in its own time.
