Ingria's Journal, 19 Mar 17

I will count this weekend as cheat days. I had guests in the house yesterday and am going to a party tonight. Even if I don't gain much, I will be struggling with water weight for the next week or two. That is OK. I can deal with it. I will see that orange color one day.

It is tough when we have friends who eat "normally"

For the curious: the damage is 2 lb, which I am not going to log in, but which I will still have to lose. The cause of the damage: I hosted a family brunch on Saturday with gluten free potato pancakes with sour cream, smoked salmon, and cranberry sauce. Technically a lighter and gluten free version of bagel with lox and cream cheese. The dinner with friends was a small meal with 4 small vegetarian appetizer (had a spoon of each), a tiny portion of veal with mixed vegetables, a small homemade panda cotta and a glass of wine (4 oz most). Exercised on both day and was pretty much close to total calories count for the day. So nothing exuberant. So I really wonder how people who eat "normally" do it. I have one living in my house for 30+ years, so trust me, he does not think twice what to put into his mouth and did not gain a pound since we married.

It was panna cotta, of course. I don't eat endangered species. :)
