This past weekend I had a long overdue visit with my mother who cooked a great meal for us to share. She made Hawaii style chicken stew, and I contributed 2 lbs of 'ahi poke. Limu (seaweed), green onions, and shoyu for her 1 lb, and mine was spicy (Korean spice with sesame oil).
Even so, we were careful about our carb intake. It was wonderful. She is reducing too!
I am ever grateful to my spouse who continues to encourage and support my efforts.
Onward to lighter days. I am closer to reducing my weight by 10%.
