Exercise makes me feel strong and better able to handle situations that come my way!
I went to the gym and met Evie and her friend Annie. We warmed up on the treadmill and then did our circuit training which was very simple - but oh so challenging! It consisted of doing 7 sets briskly of the following: 15 squats, 10 pushups, and 7 pullups. I had to modify the pullups and pushups and then when I got too fatigued, I did some light free weights.
It was fun though - me, the old lady with a couple of 23 year olds! I finished with 10 minutes on the elliptical.
I now feel recharged and that I'll be in control when I eat pizza with friends tonight!
