I couldn't agree with you more. It is amazing how many calories sneak up on us when we eat out. I tend to have the best results when I don't eat out. It makes it hard b/c we want to eat out with family and friends but we have the little bit of hesitation b/c we are wondering how that meal will affect our next weigh in.

Trublu...he wanted to go out again for pizza tonight butI put my foot down. As much as I enjoy eating out, you just don't have as much control over your eating. And it is nearly impossible to order a 400 cal meal.

Sounds wonderful and I applaud you for going back to home cooking. I have like one place I can go where I can stay within diet. I honestly don't know how you do it. Have a great week.

Having to work meals out, into our life will be easier once we hit maintenance...in the mean time we still need to enjoy ourselves, just not too much or too often...lol XX

Totally agree Di! We don't have to deny us anything just be mindful. I am slightly scared of maintenance, it will require a whole new plan.

I agree, It is so hard to keep calories down when you eat out. A good restraunt I found was Outback. They have a menu under 500 calories and have veggies without all the extras that a lot of places put on them (salt, butter, cheese, etc) For those of us who LOVE pizza. You can make pizza at home. If you have kids it can be fun to get them involved in it too then you can have complete controll over what goes in it and how many calories. I have done both the pizza dough boxes and also english muffins with tomato sauce that i season myself 2% cheese and all the onions/peppers/mushrooms etc that you want. Super satisfying and you feel like you have splurged but stayed in your calorie restrictions!
