I made it through dinner at the Italian restaurant, dinner at the New Orleans style restaurant, and was successful at avoiding my usual pitfalls. I even asked told the waitstaff that I need salad dressing without sugar. I ended up using oil and vinegar, which was great.
Today it's our Ukrainian lunch. I'm feeling more confident. I've already decided what I can eat. Hopefully, I won't succumb to pressure to eat more than I want.
My next weigh in is Tuesday and I really want to show a weight loss of at least 2 lbs.
This week I plan to add lentils to my diet. They look like a great source of fiber.
