Hi Darlene - I've been to Baltimore, was there in my late twenties with friends a short while. I didn't like the city much as I don't drive and it was spread out and difficult to get around in without a vehicle, somewhat even worse than L.A. even. Before age thirty I had been to 35 of the 50 states so there haven't been many big cities or vacation spots I haven't been. Anyway, I see you wrote you're on meds don't let it put you off it may slow you down but you will lose weight eventually. By the way my co-worker Luanne who I know quite well and is always in a rebellious mood is from your city too, I've known her over four years and she's lived here in western Massachusetts since the 1970s...

Hang in there it will get easier. I never ate very many veggies before Atkins. I find I really like them now. Our taste buds change the longer we are on the diet. Why not try something new? Try somethin that does not sound too bad. I steam cauliflower in the microwave. First ground it up in something like a food processor or oster buddy machine. then put it in a microwave safe bowl with a lid. If it is plastic do not snap the lid closed just lay it on top. Put it in for 2 mins. (1/2 cup to a 1cup) It does not need any water. Remove and add lots of butter and salt & pepper to taste. It really tastes like rice.
