Did a little bit of a naughty today.. Took my son to a Harry Potter thing at the library and we went to Morrisons for tea afterwards. I had a small gammon, egg & chips (not Wetherspoons as per my entry - was the closest I could find). Wish I hadn't now because the meal was disappointing. Oh well.

No, this is a good thing. Next time, instead of craving gammon and eggs you'll know you're not missing anything so you won't be tempted and look how well you've eaten the rest of the day. It was just one meal, not a life time choice. x

Gammon and eggs was fine. Just the chips/french fries I would question. Having said that, the first thing I would have tasted would be the chips. I love chips

I love chips too. I could probably live on them. Whatever meal out I have, there is always chips. Wouldn't consider rice or baked potato or even noodles in a chinese lol.

Cling to the fact that they may have baked the chips. OK, so they probably didn't but they MAY have! I think a little fall from grace every now and then does a diet the power of good - in that it renews one's vigour and commitment. I do it once a week (drinks with the boys from work) and it keeps me (99% of the time) on track the rest of the time. Upshot: don't beat yourself up, sh*t happens!
