Well for the next 4 days I am at my mom's. Not sure if her scale is right with mine, but hers says 125 this morning, so I hope that when I get home it doesn't show that I gained and her scale is off. Hope I can keep it up while here. They are all interested in my diet and I would love for them to start eating healthier. I plan on teaching then the basics and trying to get them to join this site. I had 2 beers and 2 glasses of wine last night, and my calories were over 1700, so her scale is probably not right with mine. HOpefully I can still continue to lose weight while here or at least maintain.

I think its a great idea that you want to share with your family the healthier ways of eating. Its actually how I start eating better.. my sister has always been thin but I noticed what she was eating and started adding it to my diet. It has made a difference.

that's great. Today I discussed good carbs and bad carbs (the ones from process sugars like in barbecue sauce and ketchup!) and how finber carbs you subtract, etc. I suggest water with lemon to keep down risk of water retention, of course I drink approx 100 oz a day, I don't have to worry about that. We also discussed empty carbs like in sodas.
