tribute_to_erasmus's Journal, 20 Jan 10

I'm having a really hard time controlling my appetite these days. I try to be mindful of all I eat, but somedays I won't stop until I FEEL full. And that can require quite some volume of food. I know that's not healthy and I know that full is not the feeling I should expect to get from eating -- satiated is the goal. I just need to get my eating under control and remember that exercising does not entitle me to eating more. It doesn't help that I'm stressed out of my mind so early in the school term or that I don't get enough sleep. I guess I'm going to try to stop everytime I go to the fridge and ask myself if I really need to eat what I'm about to eat, and follow it with 2 tall glasses of water.

why dont you try the water before, wait 10 minutes, then eat. That will keep you from over eating and make you feel fuller. I have days where i feel as tho I haven't eaten anything. I snack on carrots, and spread my meals. snacks and eat every 1/5-2 hrs instead of 2-3
