started insulin tonight at bedtme. Very sad about it. Scared that I will gain weight again. Scared that I will sabbotage my weightloss. I am telling myself that being on a diet that focuses on lowering insulin will still work even though I'm injecting insulin. Trying to stay positive.

hi ayo
I completely understand how you feel. Starting insulin is a big deal and can be hard to adjust to initially.
Yes - gaining weight is a possibility but the important thing is that you "know" about it already ! Remember that there are so many people who are on insulin who don't gain a lot of weight because they know about this issue and try to work with it. Knowledge is half the battle. I would recommend that you work really closely with a good diabetic educator/dietician who usually do wonders with some patients, helping them with the issues around insulin and weight gain. Definitely hook up with one, if you haven't seen a dietician yet.
Great that you are staying positive. We are here to support you.
