Ok, put down your cattle prods. I did go to LOA and sign up today. I look forward to meeting with the staff on Saturday morning to learn how to use the equipment, see what classes are available, and set up a time for my one free hour with a trainer. I plan on going to LOA Monday - Thursday after work and at least once over the weekend.
Today was busy at work. The day went by really fast. I can't wait for tomorrow at 1:45 when I'll be off for 2 whole weeks. Yea!
I had 3 feel good moments today:
One was - I was walking downt the hall going to the office and I heard my name being called from behind. A co-worker caught up to me and said she didn't recognize me from behind, I had lost so much weight!
Another one was - I had not worn a coat today because it was 60 degrees outside this morning. Well, it got cold during the day and I pulled out an old sweater from last year that I had in my bottom drawer. I put it on and it actually wrapped around me! Yea!
The last feel good moment is my mom gave me a gold bracelet and it actually FIT around my wrist with room to spare! Yea!
My tips for the day:
Drink lots of water. Brush your teeth after dinner. Get out of the kitchen. Remove unwanted food from your plate from a restaurant (went out to eat tonight and put the toasted Texas bread on my son's plate).
Neat thing I noticed today? I realized I can sit with my knees together for the first time in years. Before WL (weight loss) I had to sit with my legs spread because I couldn't close them.
Oh yes, and another thing, when I wash my face, I can feel my jawbone.
What an adventure this WL thing is being. I feel like a butterfly emerging from a cacoon.
