I had minor surgery last week Monday and i didn't work out for 5 days. This was the first time since May 1st I didn't work out for that long. The longest I ever have gone without working out during this period was 2 days. I lost weight during that time and my body was more cut up than before. I realized that rest is very important when trying to loose weight or gaining muscles. I have changed my routine to a five day week and rest on the weekends if it works out that way. I have read about resting but i didn't believe it, now I have lived it and will continue to do it.
