Just when you thought you were in shape... I did my first bridge run yesterday! About 1.1 miles across, but a 136 foot ascent to the peak on a gradual 5% grade. Upon getting to the base of the other side you realize you have to go back! Total of 2.45 miles in about 23 minutes. Legs are feeling it today as well as my lower abs... did not realize how much running engages the core. Today is going to be a rest day!
