Eek! OK, so this not logging my food has NOT been working for me. I need to snap out of denial and get back down to it. Today is the day!

I get obsessive on the logging in, but it keeps it on my brain. My "guess-tometer" doesn't work very well! :)

Welcome back. I just returned, too, a few days ago. Same situation.

Becca... me too! I'm obsessed with logging, and mostly BEFORE I eat the meal so I know beforehand if my macro numbers will be okay. It allows me to tweak my meal to the right proportions before it ever gets on my plate. I suck at estimating! LOL

I was gone for ten months and gained 12 pounds, the logging works!

Hmm, seems to be a pattern here...I know I too couldn't do this without knowing what my intake is...it is a bit of time and effort but so is lugging around 30 plus pounds of extra fat every day...for me a no brainer.

Being anal about it is just part of me now. Even when I know I'm doing it wrong, I know I'm doing it wrong if I'm logging it.

Day one back at logging and I enthusiastically ate little (until my kid, who just got lower braces back on his teeth, insisted we have boxed mac & cheese for dinner, then a friend stopped by to drop off some smoked brisket he made). Here's to day two! :)

Just log it all... No matter how good or bad. Gotta be honest with yourself in order to see how it all affects you. You can do this! :)
