Hi Marilet. If I may ask what training do you do? Also are your measuring yourself or just weighing?

Hi Marilet, your husband is completely right. You can pick up close to 2kg prior to your menstruation in water retention, but this weight should come off within the first few days of menstruation. This might also explain your emotional state. Good old PMS... Good luck and keep up the good work! Try not to weigh yourself during this time of the month as the fluctuations will inevitably drive you insane.

I officailly HATE MY GREEN MONSTER SCALE....picked another kilo....arrrgggghhhh....being a woman trying to lose weight is like licking an ice cream with a gail wind blowing right at you....for every two licks...there is 5 licks stuck to your face....
It may be the muscle gain.....and hopefully my fat will get the message and move on some time or its the bloody PMS and hormones and PCOS giving me Shat again.....Im taking my daughter to the docter a bit later, and Im going to ask the doctor if he can put me back on Metformin again to help with the hormones and PCOS.....just maybe this will help.....because gheeezzzzz....I cant work this hard and not gain anything positive from it.

Metformin aka Glucophage does help, but please don't just use it because you think it will help you lose weight. If your doctor is worth his weight he will send you for a proper Insulin-blood test before prescribing this to you (12 hour fasting/test/sugar water/test). Metmorfin is directly used to manage insulin levels, if he doesn't know what your insulin function is and guessing your dosage you might be taking too high/too low doses that might have detrimental consequences to your health. Exercise and eating properly directly effects your Insulin function. You might be surprised by the results after such a short week. Also check our PCOS Support website. I have had great results with cutting out/limiting my gluten and dairy products. These products directly effect your hormone function and agitates PCOS and its symptoms.

Thanks Eliza. Doctor did measure me and looked at my previous PCOS reports, and he prescribed me glucophage 500mg Slow Release to drink once a day. He also said, I can excersise ALL I WANT and eat clean with banting, but if my hormone levels are mesing arround I will struggle my whole life. ALSO my scale is out by 2kg less, so all this time my scale b#$% sh&*ed me with 2kg less than I actually weigh.....not good....I have a loooooong way and very hard training and better eating to do

Well done on the CM's lost.
Marilet when I started going to gym, I was going to go every morning and evening but was told that to much training can cause me to gain weight.
I now go to gym for an hour on a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday and every 2nd Sunday. One day I do weights the following day I do cardio. Maybe try workout less, it might give your body a shock.
