I'm looking at the erratic spikes in my weight yesterday and today...I'm thinking I need a new scale. For sure. Cause that does not seem normal. Gain five pounds overnight then lose eight...hmm.

what time of the day are you weighing yourself? there's no way you can gain weight while you sleep :) It's perfectly normal to weigh less in the morning though. I weigh 5 pounds less in the morning than I do in the evening. I suggest weighing yourself at the same time every day so you can get a better idea of if you're really losing weight or if you're just seeing normal daily fluctuations. Yes, and get a new scale :) I use the one at the gym that's like a Dr office scale.

I weigh myself when I wake up in the morning right after I take my temperature; I'm quite meticulous with schedules and my morning routine. I am convinced that it is the scale acting rather wacky. But thank you for the advice :)
