I'm glad you decided to go ahead and book the procedure. You will much better. My mom just had that done in September and they didn't even have to cut to do it. She felt great and it didn't even take 2 weeks for her to start feeling better. Hopefully it will be the same for you!

I am so glad you have found alternatives. It is wonderful that you are so proactive. You should be proud of that! :) Concerts sound like fun and as for the brussels...I love them myself and hope you do as well. :)

A decision. YES. I am glad you have made a decision. I have never regretted mine. In fact ... I did a "happy dance" down the feminine aisle of the grocery store when I was permitted to "dance" again!! LOL!! Hopefully the surgery will go smoothly, you will recover quickly, and you will then find new excitement in your day-to-day life!! So good to hear from you!! Now, I have to be completely honest. I HATE brussel sprouts!!! UGH!!! You have two whole months to focus on healthy choices and being kind to yourself before surgery!! I know you are just going to do fine!!!

You have a lot on your mind veggies. That failed attempt might have scarred a person like me for life. ;-) Just try to be good to yourself and go gently with your weight until you finish the other.

I had a complete hysterectomy a long time ago and I felt great just days after the procedure. Sometimes when one is in pain for so long - she grows accustomed to the pain and can not remember what it feels like to feel GOOD. I was aggravated because three days after the procedure - others were saying, "Poor you. You are not a woman anymore." I was thinking, "I feel more womanly NOW than I ever did." My particular ailment was endometriosis. The sensation was like carrying a bowling ball in my lower abdomen for years! God bless you! You will be fine - I am positive! Love ya - Kiddo!
