Visited some colleagues on the 6th floor of their building today. For 26 years there has been a sign on the elevators encouragings folks to use the stairs if only changing 1 floor... not for health reasons but because the elevators are already slow enough! Today I thought , "I'll just take the stairs 6 flights.... and not just walk up, but jog up and still hit every step! SUCCESS! I must have looked funny running the stairs in my tie, but I felt great when done, and had an elevated heart beat for a few minutes to boot! I wonder how to record that in my exercise log?
