wifey9707 nice yoi should totally try it ! the irony of me doing it now is I literally had a conversation with my wife last month about how I was going to be stuck logging for the rest of my life and how I didn't understand how a "normal" person that maintains a healthy weight even manages to do so 🙃 then vacation happens and I did fairly well so figured why not give it a real shot. so far i have found myself eating less than I would had I been logging and not any hungrier. I also eat small portion snacks because idc about logging the whole serving. I find myself even looking for food less even while being in a calorie deficit to lose a bit of the vacation fat gain it's a bit bizarre. I definitely subconsciously start counting calories I'm my head though from time to time but idk if that's necessarily a bad thing. goos luck you have been doing this for so long I bet you will have no issue doing it 😁

There are very few foods I weigh or measure anymore. Basically just proteins. I eyeball it switching to a mindset of a cup, half cup, etc. Not grams or ounces. A large, medium, or small apple, etc. I assemble and eat my meals and then log it after the fact in a different app that provides better information on micronutrients. I am focused in on things like omega 3, saturated fat, potassium, the b vitamins, etc. I don’t take any supplements of any kind and try get it all from food sources. That’s really the only reason I log my meals is to track nutrients. In my food posts I often provide calories , protein because that’s the language people on FS speak. I am also not overly concerned about daily calories. Some days are higher and somedays lower.

Windy Day last spartan of the year should be alittle over 14 miles 7000 ft of elevation gain and 32 obstacles 🤣 I definitely have a different idea of fun than most lol

My mouth just fell open. Literally. 😳 Yeah, you're definitely different. Lol. Wow! I passed out at 7k elevation. You'll do great tho. Your entire family is so athletic, its awesome.
