I got sick and ate crap instead of cooking..then valentines day came and I not only ate all the chocolates I got, but I baked my honey cookies and helped him eat them all. Sigh...back to behaving again. Buying a treadmill this weekend. That should help me get back to actually wanting to exersize at home.

It's weird, but I know many of us turn to sweets when we're sick. Then it can be hard to notice that they didn't make us feel better because we blame the sickness. I had the realization that my mother used to offer me sweet treats when I was sick or hurt - talk about a psychological setup for dysfunctional eating! She meant well, but it gave me a lot to deal with. Because not only are they tasty, but the sweets provided some kind of comforting mothering effect. I bet a lot of us deal with this!
