I've been on a bit of a free fall these last weeks. I recently decided to cut dairy and caffeine out for good, but all other real foods are back on the menu. my weight has been increasing steadily, but I admittedly banged on ice cream cake and all you can eat sushi last week, which is more undisciplined than I plan on being. because I have no idea how anymore how to eat and lose weight without tracking carbs, I'll start tracking calories again, for the discipline. here's to hoping it works.

side note: not sure which one did it, but cutting out caffeine and dairy this last week not only put me through a horribly painful detox -- headaches that lasted days on end, but a positive outcome has been a noticeable elimination of body odor. a couple of weeks ago and for a long time prying to that, there just wasn't enough deodorant in the world to keep me feeling fresh. another contributing factor is that I'd been home from work for the last 5 days and my stress level are lower by de facto, so not sure which is the cause here. it's nevertheless worth mentioning and monitoring over the next little while.
