Good Evening, FS Warriors! Just checking in. Worked my last day Friday. Retirement isn't official until the 31st, but I'm not going back. I have no doubt I have made the right decision, and am moving on to the next chapter in my life. I'll finally be able to dig into the projects I have been putting off for so long. Since I am typing this directly into FS, where there is a propensity for everything I have typed to disappear, I will keep this short. Hope everyone is doing well, and if I don't hear from you sooner, have a Merry Christmas!

Retirement is everything it is cracked up to be! I have no idea how I ever had time for a job. Seems I am busy all the time and can't figure out what I did half the time. Love it!

DK, glad you have projects lined up ... but take your time. Enjoy your time to putz around. I hear about so many men that retire and aren't happy. You sound just like my hubby. He retired and hasn't looked back. I am encouraging him to study for his citizenship. He just looks at me like ... woman is there anything else you want me to do? He just finished crawling around in the attic changing out a light fixture for two recessed lights, repairing the holes in the ceiling, painting the ceiling ... and hanging a pot rack. He is also in the process of building a large carport. That might take a while. LOL! Before that he poured out the concrete foundation for the greenhouse kit he put up, then made me a raised bed for my garden. Whew! I don't know what he means? Hee Hee!
