I eat 1200 calories a day to lose 1-2 pounds a week. I eat 1600-1800 calories a day to maintain.

I eat more intuitively so my meals vary. But, like Kay I stay at 1200 or a little lower. ED is real so you know not to focus on others. Talk to a nutritionist. They are always great!

This can vary a lot between persons. It depends on activity and lean mass. My wife eats 1200 calories a day to lose weight. I eat 900-1200 calories a meal x3 to lose weight. IF helps when the calories are low.

Thank y’all, Mello very true I was just curious to see what everyone is doing, maybe one day I will be able to get a nutritionist or probably maybe a therapist is more what I need lol. I do see a dr right now for mental help so slowly I’m trying to better myself! 😊💕

I also stay between 1200 or sometimes a little lower and it’s helping, just trying to make sure I don’t under eat to cause weight loss since I’ve done that in the past. So far I’m doing good and eating normally and as healthy as I can to lose weight this time!! 💕

I don’t snack, and have never snacked unless I’m out hiking. I eat breakfast, lunch and dinner, typically about 500 calories per meal. Maybe more if I have been really physically active. Occasional dessert, but never daily. I’m not on a weight loss journey— just have monitored my nutrition for many years.

Leslie how active are you? I start losing at around 1700 cals now. I’ve never eaten breakfast and normally prefer a light lunch, bigger dinner with a night snack. I did OMAD for awhile, but found it difficult once I upped my activity. Go with what works for you! 💕

APhoebe I usually do about ten minutes of slower cardio after breakfast and 20 minutes of a little faster paced cardio after dinner. Other than that I’m not a super active person, one day I would like to be more active though but I struggle with depression so getting out of the house some days feels impossible, anxiety doesn’t make that easier either. Thank you for your response! 💕

I aim for between 1200-1350. I don't lose anything if I eat more than that. Generally it ends up being about 300 B, 300 L, 200 Sn, 500 D as a goal. If I'm just doing eggs and fruit for breakfast then that will be lower 200-250 or lunch 350-400 sometimes. I leave more calories for dinner as that's when I'm hungriest or if I want to eat the same as my family in moderation.
