Question- just started using kefir- I never ate yogurt until 3 months ago and it was an adjustment to say the least. How long does it take to adjust to kefir? Are the tummy issues bc I’m using too much? Should I eat half a serving then go up?

I’ve never had kefir so I’m interested in what others will reply. I eat kimchi almost daily, 0% Fage, and dill pickles for my pro biotics. And green bananas occasionally.

Cut it down work your way up it’s very good for you especially if you have any kind of digestive issues, I only drink a little bit and it really helps.

I cut it down and it helped with the tummy issues. I’m up to a cup a day in a smoothie. There’s definitely an adjustment period when you start killing off the bad gut bacteria and building up the good bacteria. Ran a fever for about 1-2 days and felt like I was sick- but this was to be expected from all the books I’d read. Thank you for your help! 8 days in and definitely noticing a difference for the better!!!
