I'm going to send this pic to my #2 child who never misses an opportunity to rib me about my "hippie bread" hahaha.
In LOVE with this recipe and will try soon as it storms and I'm trapped inside

Nice! Yes, high in calories but nutrient rich calories. So, smaller slices still pack a punch! :)

Hi Jessie Quinn, I got the idea from these two recipes. https://onlyglutenfreerecipes.com/recipe-items/gluten-free-buckwheat-flax-bread/ https://www.powerhungry.com/2017/09/05/buckwheat-chia-flax-bread-vegan-flourless-glutenfree/ I changed the recipe up a bit. I added: 1/2 cup wheatgerm, 1/4 cup chia seeds, 1 cup flaxseed meal, 2 cup buckwheat flour instead of the groats, yeast

-MorticiaAddams: thanks :) -wifey9707: thank you :) -liv001: It was a heavy, moist and tasty bread because of the herbs I added. I was impressed. -Nottheaverage: Thank you :) -Windy Day: Thank you :) -StormsGirl: yes I though so, I'm going to keep experimenting but the calories should be healthier. The calories in buckwheat is as high as white flour :(

excellent recipe idea! I imagine the fiber is quite high as well. I'm going to try this today. the seasonings probably helped the flavor to be a nice savory bread.

-shaunj42: Yes, a lot of fiber, and the flavors were just right. Let me know how tasted :)
