Have missed reading your posts but glad all is well. Going to take a peek at the suspension trainer.

Fall is always crazy busy for me. Look at the workouts for TRX. The WOSS is much cheaper and I actually like it better than the TRX I use at the gym. The price difference is $200.00 + FOR THE trx ABOUT $50.00 For the WOSS. I love the TRX Body Fit by Amy workouts on youtube.

Have missed your posts, also. I am glad you are doing okay. I have had my mom here with me for the past two weeks so I have not posted as much as I could be wither. Cool about your GrandDaughter. I wish her luck! Hugs!

I've missed you. Where do you ice skate? Do you go all the way down to the plaza?

I love your attitude Jeri. You are a winner. That's probably where your talented GKs get it from. Wishing your GD well and the cheer leader success x

Glen, my grand kids are amazing. All but one into sports, the one that isn't gets forced into baseball by dad to get him active, he's rather a computer whiz. They are all doing well in school, if they were not parents would not allow the sports. Thanks all for the well wished for both GD's. Johanne, own Center has the outdoor ice rink and it just opened for the winter. I found out this week it is free for us 60+. Getting off at 3:30 it's an easy drive there less than 2 miles since I work in downtown KC and the parking is also free. I've taken the grandkids to the indoor rink at Independence Complex there @ 291 and 70 a few times. Mom, having family visiting is usually nice but it does change up the normal routine a bit.

Thanks Kattay, your feast sounded so yummy. I miss the fresh seafood from the coast. Going to brave the ice for a little bit after work and see how it goes, my twice attempts in 20 years ended up in crashes so hopin that doesn't happen .

good to see you posting. I understand barely posting 3 times a week or so these days
myself. And that is if I am lucky or inspired.

I hope your GD did well in the competition. Ice skating, wow, it's been years since I've done that but sounds like fun. As a kid I used to go with my brothers/friends (all boys) and we'd zoom around the public rink as fast as we could, sometimes get into crashes that would wipe out a bunch of people. Never on purpose but they happened. Wishing you lots of skating fun with minimal falling down and soft landings if you do.

Kelly, just feel swamped lately so not enough time to squeeze everything in. Also this dang infected tooth I think is making me chronically tired.

JMB, GD' came in 3rd in the state!! Pretty dang good for a small country town competing against city and large suburban school's squads. I used to skate a lot as a teen and in my 20's and early 30's. Now I'm really wobbly and will take a bit to re-learn. I did ok today around the edge sliding my hand along the rail just for a sense of balance if I needed it. I need to get a better pair of skates as these have almost no ankle support left in them. The nice young woman who worked there and I chatted quite a bit. She recommended a shop that is knowledgeable and also carries some used skates. I think a couple days a week (if it's not too cold and windy) might be a good thing for me. It certainly was a mood lifter today and I'm just a bit shy of my 10,000 steps. Will check out the skate shop after work this week.

Good luck to them in both softball and the knee, I personally have had two total knee replacements youth is on her side and I am sure she will recover quickly

Rockie, part of my push to lose weight and get fit was to avoid a knee replacemnt. ;) Glen, the grandkids are so fun all but one so far loves sports and I just love going to the games. I thought I had a break for a few weeks but jr high wrestling for 2 of them starts Sat. I won't go to that meet but will have more coming up. The one that wrestled last year was undefeated.

my son is no athlete - coordination lacking. My daughter will play casually but hates organized play and she is not a kid that cares about popularity and around here if you are not in and *in* family then you do not get on the team. And if you do make the team otherwise you could be the best player but you will never see the field. It is that vicious. So I have never pushed sports though I played Softball in HS. She is far more active than my son so I push him to get outside and play but with DD No insistence needed. I am glad your grandkids (mostly) love to play sports.
