I’m struggling to find the motivation today.. I need to be more active because I want to be healthy again, but after being inactive for so long it’s hard.

Any tips for starting out would be appreciated!!

Go easy to begin with. Try setting an achievable goal, like walking for a small set amount of time every day at a pace you know won't be too challenging. Once you've got the momentum behind you, it gets a little easier to keep going! Good luck, you got this x

the hardest part is getting out the door....so I get up early and get it done b4 I come up with more excuses not to do it...and yep, walking is a gr8 start, build it up slowly❤️

Start with walking , find a route you like , put your music on , and think about something nice 😊 I’ve been doing this for 4 month now , and no matter what the weather is, I’m out twice a day , lunch time and after work

Walk. It's so much easier and just as effective as any other exercise. The last couple of days have been fab and I've taken full advantage walking in my favourite London parks.

hi , after my operations I started walking it was literally so bad I pushed to make an extra lamppost distance each day . within 6 months I managed a 25 mike walk and realised I could start resistance training again . take it easy but not too easy . youve got this , positive mind set , mini goals and I'm sure people here will motivate you too . all the best

Swim! If you enjoy it. I suggest it as I don’t think like working out or walking 🙈

for me - wall pilates did the job. it's more like 15-18 minutes of stretching. And almost no inner resistance before 😁. When I do not want to do anything at all - I tell to myself that I can definitely do five minutes workout 😄. So, I find something like this on YouTube and feel proud of myself after 😊. Something is always better than nothing fog me. And sometimes, when I start that five minutes workout, I feel like doing more 😁

I just do a lot of walking same time every day unless I have other plans. I also make walking part of my fun plans too. I cannot do any high intensity stuff as I have a bad neck and it will make me bed ridden. I started with steps on my smart watch started at 5000 steps a day then 10,000 then 15,000 and I don’t change that much of what I eat I just check portions more than before.
