I'm 62 years old and I've always been a firm believer in age is just a number despite being diagnosed with Congestive Heart Failure along with an enlarged heart and I've now been navigating through (CHF) for the last 5 years.
As a result of being diagnosed with (CHF) I was also diagnosed with Chronic Kidney Diseases and all this was due to lack of oxygenated blood flow running throughout my body.
I'm now approaching 4 years since I was diagnosed with (CKD)
And two months ago I was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes
I'm now focusing on reversing my Type 2 diabetes that I have made it my goal for 2024!
Given the fact that I've been diagnosed with 3 different debilitating diseases my body has to work 3 times harder than a healthy body.
4 things that have been a contributing factor in my life has been my weight training my cardio a clean diet along with getting adequate and quality sleep throughout the night and all this has been a huge asset in upgrading my life and all this has been extremely crucial in improving my cardiovascular health gains!
Way before I was diagnosed with CHF I used to compete in marathons triathlons cycling events and working out at the gym.
This morning gym workout I worked out my chest I also did assisted pullups and abs followed by 20 minutes of sauna therapy!
The body achieves what the mind believes.
I've always been very adamant about everything starts in the mindset along with lifestyle change!
