Hello reality,
my, it's been some time
since we've admitted this duality
between self-control and it's mine!
Who's popcorn is resting in a small cupboard
red?
It's mine, it's mine
get out of my head
There is no ownership of food
no secret treat
that outweighs goals and
defeats defeat
But, it's mine
I want it; I missed out
when I was young
on drive-ins, fast food,
eating chocolate on a whim
buying anything, anytime
YES, she breathed raggedly; it's mine!
