Ps. The Dunkins refresher in the background isn't mine it's my coworkers. I have reduced my Dunkins trips dramatically and am pretty proud of myself for that.

Hi go for food. The protein in shakes is not easily absorbed. I was trying to increase my blood protein levels when donating plasma. I drank shakes and my levels were still low. I started to experiment. I ate ac cup of ground beef the evening before donating. Walla, my protein levels werec good. This happened many times. So i don't do shakes anymore. I searched for an answer on the internet and found a good fitness article showing just this. So now i think it's all a marketing scheme to get you to buy their junk. Too bad

@jen that's so interesting. I've wondered if it's the same with vitamins.

I know this is super late (I was checking out your page 😅) but I use Vital Proteins collagen supplement unflavored. 20g protein per 4 tbsp. I usually mix into my coffee or tea. I don’t notice any taste difference which is really big for me.

@anime. Oh awesome I'll look into it. Still haven't find one I liked so I'll def check it out. I like the idea of it having the collagen in there.

Isogenix is the best bar far for women. I sometimes dip in my wife’s - it’s worth the scolding lol..
I am always amazed at her ability to etch off whatever at anytime! She’s on her usual year, meal replacing with her isogenix.
