Ken I sauté bacon, celery, onion, minced garlic, thyme, dill, white pepper. Add clam base, clam juice, potatoes. Make a roux with butter and flour. Add that and minced clams once the potatoes are done. Stir for ten years and then add half and half/heavy cream to your liking. It’s delicious!! You can freeze it before adding the cream too if you wanted to make big batch for future eating. 😋
